Soft or firm?

Judgments of firmness and softness are subjective and there are different factors involved in evaluating how firm or soft a mattress is.
A person who weighs 50 kg will evaluate a mattress differently from one who weighs 90 kg.
It was therefore chosen to indicate with simple symbols the degree of lesser or greater firmness (technically defined as support or the degree of yielding of the mattress) referring to normal-type people weighing 65/70 kg.
